Built in 1901, Royal Research Ship "Discovery" was the last traditional three-masted ship built in Britain. The ship took Scott and Shackleton on the British National Antarctic Expedition of 1901-04, their first successful journey to the continent. She is now on display at Discovery Point, Dundee.
